Angelfish are not recommend for beginners as they are hard to care for. They are quite exotic in their looks and move gracefully through the water. They tend to show aggression towards smaller fish like Neon Tetras.

BREEDING
Angle fish lay eggs on a surface for example a submerged log or leaf. They are quite hard to breed but can have from 100 to 1,200 eggs.
- Tendency to eat young
- Hard to distinguish gender
- Life long pairs.
- Sexual maturity at 6-12 months
- Female will lay eggs vertically and then male will fertilise them
- 100 to 1,200 eggs
- Try to keep high water circulation around eggs
- Eggs hatch in a few days
- Fry remain on substrate to eat yolk sacs
- One week the fry will detach and swim
