Dwarf Shrimps
These species are very small, reaching a maximum of 4cm in size, and are the most popular with aquarists. These critters often consume algae and microorganisms. Dwarf shrimp are very peaceful and can be kept in large schools and other calm fish (preferably with small mouths e.g. Enlder Livebearers). A classic example of a crustacean from the dwarf shrimp species is the Red Cherry Shrimp.
