Ponds - How to build your own pond

Picture
Fact: Pond liner is the easiest way to make a pond.

List of costs of pond liners (cheapest to most costly):
  • Small, free standing container
  • Puddled clay (if free clay is available)
  • Polythene sheeting
  • Rigid, preformed unit
  • PVC
  • Low-density polythene
  • Butyl rubber
  • Concrete
Note: It's better to have smaller pond with better material than bigger pond with bad material.

Fish that can be placed in a pond include: Rosy Barbs, Swordtails, Guppies, Red Cherry Shrimp, Ghost Shrimp, Platy's, Pacific Blue Eyes, White Cloud Minnows, Goldfish and Gudgeons.
