Hence the name, these fish have black and white stripes that fun horizontally across their body, making them resemble zebras.

Breeding
Females have a larger belly whilst males have a more torpedo body shape. Place a male and female into a breeding tank with marbles on the bottom (allow eggs to fall through so they can't be eaten). They will lay around 300-400 eggs which take 36 hours to hatch and then 3 days to swim. The fry should be fed infusoria, finely ground flakes or brine shrimp.
