Breeding
Crystal Red Bee Shrimp are hard to sex, you only really know the sex when you see one which it pregnant.
To breed these you need at least a 20 gallon aquarium and the water quality need to be superb. Keep the temperature between 21 - 23*C (70-74F). The pH does not affect the breeding much so a 7 should do the trick. Lighting should remain on the tank for around 10-12 hours a day, no more or no less. Don't feel discourage if the baby shrimp die because the naturally have a high mortality rate.
Note: do not let copper in the aquarium because it is lethal for shrimp! Check if the products you put into your aquarium have copper because if they do then they are not shrimp friendly.
